Areas for Backpacking at Francis Marion National Forest
If you are dispersed camping overnight on the forest you must obtain a free camping permit online from the ranger district. Areas that do not need a dispersed camping permit: Honey Hill, Elm Wood Hunt Camp and Buck Hall Campground.
